MEETING POINT WIN “MANAGER OF THE YEAR AWARD AT THE UK CONTACT CENTRE FORUM (UKCCF) AWARDS FOR LONDON & SOUTH EAST REGION

Tuesday, May 31, 2016

Kingston-upon-Thames – 31st May 2016 - MeetingPoint, IT Channel leader in demand generation and training services, has scooped “Winner” in the Manager of the Year category at the UKCCF Awards for London and the South East Region.  They credit Stephen Burton, Head of Training, for his grounded and ethical approach to team training and management.

The Awards Ceremony, hosted this year by Actor and Stand-Up Comedian Stuart Goldsmith at Radisson Blu Edwardian Heathrow, is one of the industry’s most highly anticipated calendar events with contact centre teams from across London and the South East vying for recognition amongst their peers.  This year yielded another fantastic crop of industry beating talent and recognised MeetingPoint in two additional categories - as Finalists/Highly Commended in the Outsourcing Partnership category and Finalist in the Customer Experience team category.

Speaking from MeetingPoint's headquarters, Stephen said “I truly believe all good managers should be judged on the success of their staff as there are no “A people”, just “A teams”.  This ethos based on work hard, play fair and play to win, creates teams willing to help each other achieve and in the end everyone gets what they want, which can only ever be good for business.  This Award is for the entire Meeting Point Team”
